french open final

well, roger is still there, no matter what critics say abt him that his time is over or he needs some psychophysical help or whatever, the million dollar answer is that he is still there to win his 14th slam and matched sampras record.looking at the way in which he progressed to the final, some critics may again say that he is not at his top form,2 times he had played a five setter to reach the final.and in both cases he had to come back from close to defeat.now is't that define what a great champion he is?after all that's what a champion does? coming back from edge of defeat, unwilling to give up no matter what. i guess sometimes what counts is not just playing good tennis but a match that leads to victory.

well its 4th consecutive french open final for roger federer, (in the previous 3 finals he lost to rafael nadal) and he plays soderling, soderling had dream run here at french open, a guy who has never gone beyond 3rd round at any grand slams is playing final vs roger.i guess its going to be a wonderful match(i hope roger does it in 3 set itself, still let's see) and would love to c roger lifting up the trophy.to be honest, he really deserves it, the reasons:

1)its his 4th consecutive final and was in the prev 3 finals he was defeated by only one guy rafael nadal.

2)since 2004, he has never been knock out of any grand slam before the semis, that tells what consistent guy he is and a ambassador of sports.

3)he has been never won french open title though he has never lost to any other player other than rafa since 2004.

soderling too had a great run here at french open, he did what roger could not do here at french open, i.e def nadal.its a guarantee that the match is going to be wonderful- in one side we have roger, fighting to win his only non-tasted slam and his 14th and on other side soderling to taste his first grand slam win.

so guys let's booked our seat in the T.V room to witness the great final.
